An energy certificate shows the energy properties of a building and its energy class, and is prepared on the basis of an energy survey, data on the building and energy calculations.

Review of basic data

Preparation of the energy certificate

On the basis of the energy survey and the calculations carried out, an energy certificate with the corresponding energy class is prepared.

The energy certificate contains recommendations for improving the energy properties of the building, where applicable.

Where necessary, we provide professional support in planning energy renovation measures and preparing applications for public calls.

Agreement and basic data

We agree on the preparation of the energy certificate and collect the basic data on the property required for the energy survey.

Property survey

We survey the property, collect the necessary data on the structure, the building envelope and the technical systems and document the existing state with photographs.

Calculation and preparation of the certificate

On the basis of the collected data, we carry out the energy calculations and prepare the energy certificate with the corresponding energy class.

Delivery of the documentation

Upon completion, we send the client the energy survey report, the energy certificate and the invoice electronically, and a printed copy of the energy certificate can be collected at the ING-VICTUS office.

Support in energy renovation and applications for public calls

ING-VICTUS provides professional support to owners of family houses in energy renovation and applying for public calls for co-financing.
On the basis of the energy survey of the existing state, the possibilities for improving the energy properties of the building are analysed and proposals for energy efficiency measures are defined and presented in the energy report and the energy certificate.
When applying for a public call, we provide support in verifying the conditions, preparing the required documentation and in the application procedure itself.

  • When is an energy certificate required?
    An energy certificate must be obtained before the sale, rental or lease of a building or its separate part for which energy certification is required. For a new building, the energy certificate must be obtained before the occupancy permit is issued. The Act also prescribes certain exceptions to this obligation.
  • How much does it cost to prepare an energy certificate?
    The price depends on the type, size and complexity of the property. After receiving the basic data on the property, we can define the price of preparing the energy certificate.
  • How long is an energy certificate valid?
    An energy certificate is valid for ten years from the date of issue.
  • What is needed to prepare an energy certificate?
    To prepare an energy certificate, basic data on the property and the owner are required. During the energy survey we carry out the necessary measurements, collect data on the structure, the building envelope and the technical systems and document the existing state with photographs.
  • In which area do you prepare energy certificates?
    We prepare energy certificates primarily in the area of Belišće, Valpovo, Osijek and Osijek-Baranja County, and depending on the type of building, elsewhere in Croatia.
